Six1Fly's Aviation Adventure Camp (2026)

Six1Fly's Aviation Adventure Camp is designed for students aged 13-18 who are interested in aviation. During this five-day camp, students will learn about all things flying: weather, navigation, career paths, maintenance, and what it takes to fly an airplane. The Aviation Adventure Camp concludes with a discovery flight, where your student will take to the skies during a flight lesson from a certified flight instructor.

Students will receive a camp shirt, logbook, and actual training time taught by certified flight instructors.

Camp Outline

1. Day 1: Aviation Basics: History, aerodynamics, and weather.
2. Day 2: Navigation and Flight Planning: Preflight, radios, and flight planning.
3. Day 3: Aviation Careers & Operations: Career presentations from real commercial pilots.
4. Day 4: Aviation Maintenance: Hands-on learning from a certified aircraft mechanic.
5. Day 5: First Flight Experience: One-on-one flight lesson from a certified flight instructor.
